OK, lets get it straight right here & right now. I am not really much of a blogger. No surprise. With that said, I was talking to my sister the other night and she said that she hadn't seen any pictures of me pregnant. So here they are, along with some ultrasound pictures. Here is a picture of our little embryos:
Here are some pictures from our first official ultrasound on June 22nd. This is where we were told that baby A is still a boy and found out that baby B is a girl. I have been going to the doctor every 2 weeks since week 14 and I get unofficial ultrasounds everytime I go in. We found out baby A was a boy at the 14 week mark, but baby B was a little more shy until June 22nd (18 weeks).

Can you see the boy & girl parts? Yeah, me either.

Since they are twins, I go into the maternal fetal medicine office at the hospital and get ultrasounds every 4 weeks to monitor their growth and all. The last one I got on 9/15/11 (26 weeks). They say they are about 2 pounds right now and their growth is measuring right around 26-27 weeks. These are their profile pictures.

And finally these are pictures of me. Believe it or not, I have had several people tell me that I am not big enough for having twins, but at my last appointment (26 weeks) I was measuring 39.5 weeks.

21.5 weeks, 24 weeks, 26 weeks

Satisfied now Christy?

Thanksgiving

We went to Harland's parents for Thanksgiving. It was fun but also very crowded. 16 people in a 900 square foot house!!! Here is Katera with some of her cousins.Harland with his sister and brother:

Crazy hair day & Halloween

Katera had spirit week at school & one of the days was crazy hair day. I used pipe cleaners to make her hair stand out and bend how I wanted it to.

Here are some Halloween pictures. I know I am behind on a few holidays.

The pumpkins are Snow White, a deer and a haunted house, if you can't tell.

New addition to the family

Here is a picture of our newest addition to the family as of September 2009. Her name is Izzy. The name evolved from Isabella, Bella to Izzy. Harland is the big sucker who brought her home from the rec. center. She walked in the door to the daycare area when they opened it. She just cuddled up to him and purred. I never thought he would be the big sucker and the one to bring home a cat. We attempted to find an owner, but one was never found. We had her fixed and checked to see if she was microchipped. Over all she is a good cat and full of a lot of mischief. She gets a long ok with the dog. I say ok because the dog gets irritated by her because she is always attacking her...

Picking out Pumpkins

Here are some pictures of us picking out our pumpkins.

First Day of 1st Grade

Here is Katera's first day of school. We decided to enroll her in the spanish immersion program. She has two teachers. One of them, Mrs. Barker speaks only spanish in her class while Mrs. Neral speaks only English. So far she can count to 90 in spanish and is learning a few words. She told me she didn't want to be in the spanish class anymore when Mrs. Barker told them she wasn't going to speak English at all anymore. I think she has since gotten over that.

California

Katera & I went to California to visit my family - without Harland because he had to work. We had a lot of fun. We went to Legoland and went kayaking in the ocean and we can finally see that Katera is actually learning from her swim lessons. She loves diving for rings now. Here are a few pictures of the trip.

Grandma sleeping on the beach.
Some guy sculpted this squid in the sand.

And finally Legoland:

Katera wanted her face painted so badly.
